Pep Guardiola says Jeremy Doku is back in training but didn’t commit on whether the winger would be fit to face Leeds United this weekend.
Jeremy Doku has missed 6 games for Man City due to a calf injury he sustained during the club’s UEFA Champions Leqgue 2-0 win against Galatasary SK at the Etihad on Wednesday, 28th January2026.
The 23-year old winger has cemented his stop as a key creative playmaker in Man City this season with some top performances.

This comes as a huge boost for Pep Guardiola and Man City ahead of some key fixture, notably, Leeds United, Nottingham Forest, Newcastle and Real Madrid, as he bring more pace, directness, unpredictability and more tactical flexibility to the team’s attack.
Analysing Leeds ahead of Saturday’s Premier League clash
Man City go to Elland Road at 17:30 (UK) on Saturday aiming to move just two points behind Premier League leaders Arsenal.
The Blues have been in fine form recently, going eight games unbeaten across all competitions.
That has largely been without Belgian international Doku, who has been absent since the Champions League victory over Galatasaray in late January due to a calf injury.
Guardiola says the No.11 is on the road to recovery but is unsure whether he will play a part at Leeds.
“Yesterday he made the first training,” he said when asked about Doku’s fitness.
Pressed for clarification on the winger’s involvement tomorrow, he replied: “I don’t know, we’ll talk with the doctors and officials afterwards.”
