Two Students at Nalerugu SHS Killed by Unknown Gunmen
Two students of the Nalerugu Senior High School have been shot dead by some unknown gunmen.
According to reports, the gunmen invaded the school’s premises in the early hours of Saturday, July 26.
The attack has sent shockwaves through the community and raised many concerns about the safety of students.
Full details surrounding the shooting are still not clear, but there has been a long-standing violent conflict in the Upper East Region for some time now.
Identities of the students who were shot are yet to be revealed.

The headmaster of the school, Mr. Mohammed Tibila, confirmed the tragic development in an interview with CitiNewsroom on Sunday, stating that the shooting occurred on campus.
Students are reportedly terrified and many deciding to stay indoors or look for temporary refuge. This comes after similar incident was reported in Bawku.
The Norrth East Regional Police Commander also confirmed the shooting but not give any comment, giving the sensitive nature of the ongoing investigation.
