Cina Soul Calls For Justice Against Big Akwes- "Feels Threatened"
Ghanaian music star, Cina Soul has revealed that she feels threatened by some comments made by Ghanaian actor, Big Akwes.
Known in real life as Christie Quincyna Quarcoopome, she has expressed her fears over some comments made by Big Akwes.
The actor made the comments on Bryt when he was asked to choose whom he would marry, kiss and kill.
He was asked to pick form actress Vivian Jill, Cina Soul and Nana Agradaa in a Kiss-Marry-Kill game.
He stated that he would marry, Vivian Jill and give Nana Agradaa a peg instead of a kiss because she is like a mother to him.
However, he made a very shocking statement, saying he would kill Cina Soul.
Things got more worrying when he went on to describe how he would kill Cina Soul in a very unpleasant manner.
He said he would use a magic mirror to call her spiritually, stab her multiple times with a knife.
Big Akwes also said he would drink her blood, take out her womb and eat it with bread.
The musician as expected, expressed how “deeply unsettled” she is about the comment.
She took to social media to register her displeasure on the comment.
The singer tagged the Ghana Police Service and the Ministry of Communications.
She called for quick action to be taken as she really feels threatened.
“I’m deeply unsettled by this. I initially chose not to respond to earlier comments because I do not wish to be associated with this individual, but at this point, I feel genuinely threatened.
“I may not know the proper channels to report this, but it’s critical we take a firm stance against this kind of dangerous rhetoric being broadcast on our TV and radio platforms. We must not normalize hate,” she posted.
Many people have condemned Big Akwes and Bryt TV for airing the video and supported Cina Soul’s demand for justice.
