Ice Cream Company Issues Recall for 17,000 Tubs

Popular ice cream company, Wells Enterprises , also known as Wells Dairy has voluntarily issued a recall of 22 different types of ice cream and frozen yogurts.

The company started a nationwide recall on 25th April.

It stated the possible “presence of plastic” in more than 17,000 tubs of its products.

The Food and Drugs Authority has classified the recall as a Class II,

According to the company’s website, usually shows a situation in which use of or exposure to, a dangerous product.

This may cause temporary bad health consequences.

Wells Enterprises listed an assortment of products from 103 distribution centers affected by the recall.

The products have an expiry date ranging between March and October 2026.

The Vanilla Yogurt is the most affected flavor, with 5,280 recalled tubs.

The recall is still going on and no further updates have been provided.

The Ice Cream company encourages customers to be cautious and throw away any products that might be affected.
